Byakuran was born into the Hyuuga clan in the main branch. Because he was in the main branch they made him train like crazy so he could develop his Byakugan.But Byakuran's Byakugan was different from the rest.Even though he went into Byakugan his eyes stayed the same.Purple with pupils.And even more to add Byakuran claimed he saw everything with the eyes.That he had no Blind Spot.Amazed by such a miracle they sent Byakuran on A-rank missions even before he enrolled into the academy.But Byakuran was to young and inexperienced and whenever they would send him on a mission Byakuran would panic and turn off the Byakugan to avoid watching all the bloodshed.Because of this the Hyuuga clan banished him as a liar and sent him to the Stone village.

...Even if you turned off the Byakugan, you'd still be able to see, and the clan wouldn't brand you a 'liar'
